Light is an integral part of both architecture and interiors. Light defines our perception of space whether the source is natural or artificial. Light plays an important role in the way to experience space. The function and aesthetics of a space can be varied by just playing with light. Various elements of design such as shapes, forms, colours and textures, are dependent on light for definition. Light has an impact not only on the function and aesthetics but also on human comfort and productivity.
We believe architecture is poetry created with light as the medium. Hence, the name LITAR which is a portmanteau of the words light and architecture.
